Description: A By-law to amend By-law Number 3783 which is a By-law to control noise in the Township of Sandwich West.

Date Passed: March 27th, 1984

WHEREAS By-law Number 3783 is a By-law to control noise in the Township of Sandwich West;

AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend the said By-law  number 3783.

NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SANDWICH WEST ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

1. That By-law Number 3783 being a By-law to control the noise in the Township of Sandwich West, be amended by deleting paragraph 8 therein and inserting therefor the following:
   
   "8 Penalty
   Every person who contravenes any of the provisions of this By-law is guilty of an offence and shall, upon conviction thereof, forfeit and pay a penalty of not more than $2000.00, exclusive of costs, and every such fine is recoverable under the Provincial Offences Act."
    

2. This By-law shall come into full force and take effect upon the final passing thereof, subject to approval of the Minister of the Environment.
