Town of LaSalle By-law By-law No: 4980 Description: A By-Law to amend By-Law No. 4667, which restricts the setting of fires within the Town of LaSalle. Date Passed: October 12, 1983 WHEREAS By-Law No. 4667, a by-law passed by the Council of the Township of Sandwich West, January 8th, 1991, was passed with the intention of restricting the setting of fires within the Township of Sandwich West later incorporated and now known as the Town of LaSalle; AND WHEREAS there were no specific exemption for what is described as a “open air cooking fire”, more commonly referred to as a barbecue; AND WHEREAS it is the intent to allow these types of fires, that are small, personal to the household, and specific in their intent. NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF LASALLE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
READ a first and second time and finally passed this 12th day of October, 1993. FINALLY PASSED this 12th day of October, A.D. 1993. 1st reading – October 12, 1993. 2nd reading – October 12, 1993. 3rd reading – October 12, 1993.
