A Friendly Reminder from LaSalle Fire Service We encourage you as the homeowner to take an active part in fire safety for you and your family by ensuring smoke alarms are installed and in working order as required. We are proud of our aggressive residential smoke alarm campaign that helps to ensure early warning in the event of a residential fire. In order to protect all residents the LaSalle Fire Service will continue to ensure each residence we attend is in compliance. Please note that we will commence invoicing the homeowner (effective January 2012) the amount of $30 for the installation of each smoke alarm where required. Please contact us at (519) 966-0744 regarding smoke alarms and their placement or any other fire safety concerns. |

When an emergency occurs, you could be anywhere but it is most likely that you will be either at home, at work or in your car. Having specific supplies available on-hand can help you endure an emergency by making you self-sufficient for 3 days or even longer. View the Public Safety Canada website
