 The Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex is the primary place for the recreational, social, and cultural needs of all LaSalle residents. Our families, seniors, fitness enthusiasts, cultural groups and service clubs all benefit from having a common hub.

Everyone Benefits
The Culture and Recreation Department offers comprehensive recreational programming such as fitness, swimming, youth programming, day camps, daytime programs for adults, seniors and pre-schoolers, and holiday and special event programs;
The complex offers a place where arts, culture and sports intersect along the concourse, in meeting areas, and along the trails and park areas;
The complex site is an ideal venue for wedding receptions, family gatherings, antique car shows, trade shows and a variety of exhibitions such as quilting exhibits;
The complex is home to a vast array of organizations including: Skate LaSalle, the LaSalle Minor Hockey Association, LaSalle Stompers Soccer Club, female hockey and many other sport associations. As well, many local service clubs and groups such as the LaSalle Friendship Club that call the complex “home.”
